Saving Abandoned Fly Grazing Equines (SAFE)

"The Belforte Foundation's grant came at exactly the right time, enabling us to provide urgent veterinary assessments, blood tests, microchipping and the legal passport documentation for seven desperately neglected horses as soon as they arrived in our care. Thanks to this support, every horse received the treatment they needed to begin their recovery. We are incredibly grateful for The Belforte Foundations support in helping us give these horses the second chance they deserved. "

Saving Abandoned Fly Grazing Equines (SAFE)

Saving Abandoned Fly-Grazing Equines (SAFE) is a registered charity based in Berkshire, founded in 2014 that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes abandoned and neglected horses across Berkshire, Surrey, and the surrounding areas. SAFE is run entirely by volunteers and cares for over 20 horses at any one time. The charity also supports landowners and the public with guidance on the legal processes surrounding equine abandonment.

The Belforte Foundation awarded a grant of £3000 towards veterinary bills, an increasing financial challenge for the charity and was used to help seven horses that had been recently rescued and were suffering from severe malnourishment amongst other health concerns. safe
