The Belforte Foundation was created out of love for animals. Our kind Founder set up and left her estate to The Belforte Foundation on her passing. The reason for this was simple… so her legacy of loving animals could live on.
And today, we are proud to be carrying that legacy forward – helping humans to help animals, day in, day out.
We help give them a voice. Defenders of the defenceless.
We stand up for those that should never stand alone. From furry friends to wonderous wildlife, we bridge the gap between those in need and those willing to lend a helping hand.
By supporting, advocating and championing volunteers, animal charities and non-profits, we ensure that every creature – great and small – receives the care, kindness and compassion they deserve.
Because the wellbeing of ever being is our responsibility and we stand united in our legacy:
To help humans help animals.
We know that kind hearted animal-loving people, just like our Founder and our team, are the backbone of the animal welfare sector. We recognise and appreciate their hard work and dedication in helping enhance the lives of animals in need.
That’s why at The Belforte Foundation we exclusively offer grants to smaller animal organisations who are often ineligible to access grant funding from many grant givers, with a simple application process.
