AMOS Pet is a wonderful charity registered in Scotland and operating in Macedonia. It helps rescue street cats and dogs and rehomes them to loving families in the UK and other parts of Europe. 

We awarded AMOS Pet a grant of £5000, with a grant split into two separate areas – one to assist with vet bills which were causing the charity to struggle, and one to develop and build a new website to better promote their work and their animals for rehoming. The website is currently in development and looks set to really help the charity and potential donors and rehomers, and the grant money towards vet bills made a massive difference. The Belforte Foundation grant helped 26 animals (12 dogs and 14 cats) with essential and emergency vet care and the charity reported that it alleviated the financial burden on their resources, which allowed them to act swiftly and decisively in emergency situations. This not only saved lives but also enhanced their capacity to rescue and rehabilitate more animals.
