Brighter Days Rescue is a dog rescue based in Staffordshire help dogs in need from the UK and overseas through care and rehoming. The charity works alongside other animal loving teams in Bulgaria, Spain, and Romania. In the first quarter of 2026, they helped over 50 dogs.

The Belforte Foundation awarded a grant of £2000 to support the rising costs of vet bills, food and electricity, but soon after the charity was lucky enough to receive a large food donation, so the grant was used towards vet bills and electricity costs, including covering a substantial vet bill for a bulldog named George, who became very unwell and required a number of diagnostic tests to determine the cause of his illness.
