Cat Watch Rescue Shelter

Cat Watch Rescue Shelter is a small cat rescue charity, run entirely by volunteers, which helps cats and kittens in and around the Wiltshire area. They were founded in 2019 and have rescued, rehomed or reunited over 1500 cats to date. The charity is a member of the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) and have completed the cat friendly rescue rehoming shelter certification.

The Belforte Foundation awarded a grant of £2000 towards veterinary expenses. The grant helped towards veterinary treatments and medications for all the cats and kittens in care at the time, and is estimated to have helped around 30 cats. Treatments included helping a cat with a necrotic wound on his foot, cats with severe matting and a stray Bengal with blocked ears and ear mites.
