The Belforte Foundation is a young and dynamic Foundation that gives animals a voice, and helps humans to help animals. We stand up for those that should never stand alone, and help enable others to be their guardians.
The Belforte Foundation was formed to help animals live better lives. This is what our kind Founder wanted, and it’s what we strive to achieve each and every day. We live and breathe animal welfare, aiming to support small yet high impact animal charities and organisations.
Our charitable objects are purposely broad, and they allow provision for caring for lost, mistreated or abandoned animals; providing veterinary care and treatment for animals; promoting kindness to animals; preventing or supressing cruelty to animals; reliving the suffering of animals; providing an animal sanctuary for animals in need of protection; and supporting other animal welfare charities as the Trustees see fit. We award small grants to help humans help animals, and we offer mentoring and training to maximise impact for smaller charities and organisations.
We’ve already helped numerous small animal charities to help more animals. From street dogs, to hedgehogs, to squirrels and ponies, we are proud that we have been able to work with smaller animal charities to enhance their impact for animals.
